New General director Axel Springer Russia appointed

Regina von Flemming appointed General director Axel Springer Russia starting from December 15, 2005. She will replace Irina Silaeva who is leaving the company to devote herself to new projects.
Regina von Flemming will start work within the contract of consulting services. She has over 10-years business experience in Russia, including her work as the head of her own consulting company with the offices located in Moscow and Berlin. Previously she held a post of the vice-president of American-Russian investment fund "Delta Capital" in Moscow, and was the head of representative offices of "Ehrmann AG" and "Krone AG" in Russia. Since 1997 Regina von Flemming has headed the Management Committee of Business Practice within the German Business Club in Moscow and since 2000 she is on the Management Board.
She gained considerable experience of working as a journalist for "Spiegel", "Spiegel TV" and TV-channels "RTL" and "Sat1" in late 80s and early 90s in Russia.
Irina Silaeva, co-founder and former General director, worked for the publishing house Axel Springer Russia since September 2003. Under her guidance Axel Springer Russia launched international media brands FORBES, NEWSWEEK and WALLPAPER to Russian market in years 2004 and 2005. The company is grateful to Irina for her successful work and important contribution in the company development.
