Ms von Flemming is the founder of Flemming & Partner. Her eight years of experience managing German companies in Russia include the successfully setting up of branch and retail structures, as well as leading acquisitions.

After a traineeship in PR at the W. Wilkens Agency in Hamburg, Ms von Flemming completed training to become an export merchant at the Klöckner AG in Duisburg, working in the international steel department. In 1993, she completed her studies at the Free University in Berlin and the Institute for Political Studies (IEP), Paris, graduating in political science with a focus on transition economies and business strategy.

Ms Flemming then spent a year as a research assistant at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, in their corporate strategy department. Back in Germany, she was admitted to the post-graduate course of the German Institute for Development Aid (Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungshilfe), which was combined with a project stay of several months in the People's Republic of China. After almost three years at the consulting firm Treuhand Osteuropa Beratung in Berlin (privatization and restructuring projects in Central and Eastern Europe, but also in China and Egypt), she moved to St. Gallen Consulting Group in Frankfurt as a Senior Consultant.

Ms von Flemming lived in Moscow in 1988-89 and worked for "Der Spiegel". She returned to Russia permanently in 1996 as general manager of the Krone AG. Less than three years later, in September 1999, Ms von Flemming took over the management of the Ehrmann plant in Moskau. This was the position she held when she changed to Delta Capital at the end of 2000 as Vice President of the US Russia Investment Fund, the largest Private Equity Fund in Russia. Her responsibilities included selecting new investments, monitoring and controlling the portfolio, as well as fund raising and public relations.

Since December 2005 Ms Flemming has been working as the CEO of Axel Springer Russia a 100% subsidiary of Axel Springer AG while continuing to run Flemming & Partner.

From 1997 until March 2007 she presided the Committee for Business Practice and since 2000 has been member of the board of the German Business Association.
